Anointed Flavors got it's start way back in 1898. My Great-Grandmother Mollie Buckson loved to cook, she would cook and bake everyday for friends and family abroad. Anyone who was hunger and needed a meal had a place at her table. She often cooked for large Church events in the community producing fresh-baked products mixing traditional and unorthodox methods to perfect the art of dessert-making as well as other amazing southern cuisines! My Great-Grandmother later passed her love for cooking with scratch mixes and high-quality ingredients down to her Daughter, my Grandmother Catherine Kilgore. These recipes would later get passed down to my Grandmothers Children and Grandchildren. After both of my Grandparents passed away I found myself learning how to cook things from my Grandmother on my Fathers side Shirley Ann Harris. Everybody that came into contact with my Grandparents lover their cooking. People would always ask them to cook for them, especially during the Holidays! My family has carefully harvested these recipes that we call gems and combined them with some of our very own delicious recipes, to create some of the most Savory, Rich, and Tantalizing dishes that many of our family, friends, and customers have grown to love throughout the years!
